| Nothing had really occurred during the first few days of her stay. Neighbors had visited, asked how she was, how everything was going. Pretty much the most general questions that any neighbor would ask.
The days had gone slowly, more slowly than they did in Central at the shop. At least in Central she could see people she knew, could see some friends.
Here, the only ones she had ever made...had disappeared without a trace. she sighed, wandering around the house. She knew the building by heart, no need to walk around and visit the rooms. but it gave her something to do. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ OOC: Oh my, it's been a while hasn't it? so sorry loves, I've been spending to much time on Gaia and sleeping. it is summer after all. I hope to update more now that I have the time. Tra~ -R

| she hung out on the balcony for the majority of the evening. it was ridiculously quiet, not just in the house, but in the are surrounding it. maybe she had been insane for coming back there, after all(no matter how cold it sounded) there wasn't exactly anything there for her. no relatives, no old friends, not even a neighbor. well except for that one girl that Al, Ed and her used to play with. it was sad that she couldn't remember the girl's name. she shook her head, looking at the sunset. how long had she been out here? she forgot how easy it was to lose track of time out in the country. she took in a deep breath and then went back inside. maybe someone nearby who used to pay to get their automail fixed here would hear she was back or that someone had gone inside and come to get their automail fixed and tell her about all she missed. happy to see a Rockbell back in town. she shook her head and pushed some hair out of her face and behind her ear. she needed to focus on finding some food. | ((Sorry folks. haven't been around much...well...there hasn't been a lot to do on here anyways...but thats not a real excuse now is it? anywhoo I do check this site so don't worry comments don't go unseen or whatever)) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The house was the way she left it except for the wall paper getting a bit shappy and there was dust practically everywhere. she sighed dumping her stuff on the ground and decided to look around the house, make sure that nothing had been stolen. she went upstairs and walked down the hall. her room, though a lot of the things that had been it had been taken up to the new shop, seemed to be the one of two rooms that hadn't changed at all. it had been cleared out when she moved, because...well of her possessions that one would have in a bedroom were in her old one. she took a seat at the desk that she had left behind. she just didn't have room for it. it was weird being in the house alone again. she opened one of the drawers to discover an old piece of paper with a short story on it. the one she had written in the the fifth grade. she smiled a little to herself and noticed that underneath it was a picture of her with her parents before they died. she replaced the story and took the picture with her. after all they were her parents. she moved on to the other unchanging room. the one where they had kept some of their costumers so they could get used to their automail. the row of beds, that were identical, had only white sheets thrown over them to keep dust off of the them, but since no one came to stay here anymore it hadn't mattered a bit. she couldn't bring herself to check on her Granny's room, not sure if she would burst into tears or just be mopey the rest of her time at the house. but she wasn't starting off the days of her small break very well. | Rain. Thats all that occured for the past several days. Rain. Stormy clouds that wouldn't go away, stopping her from taking the weekend off and going back home for awhile, stopped her from visiting Granny, Mom, Dad and Mrs. Elric. she glared as the droplets of water splatter her window sill. "Stupid rain" she muttered as she tossed her jacket on her bed. Second thought, and she grabbed it up again taking hold of an umbrella and her suit cases, "screw it" she managed to make it to the train station without getting too wet. barely. she boarded, pulled out a book and silently read for the ride. when she finally got there, the rain had cleared...well stopped, the clouds not as threatening as before. she smiled faintly and carried on. when she reached the house, it was different. the old sign for the Automail business that was once housed there had faded and was now soaked through with rain. the paint was pealed completely away in places and the yard had gotten out of control. "Oh dear" XOXO -Winry

| Sometimes life just wants to spit in your face and laugh. and currently that was how it seemed for one Winry Rockbell. work was slow, life was slow, nothing seemed to pop up and yell "living life to the fullest" for her, as cheesy as that sounds. the blond had made so life changing decisions, but they didn't seem to matter anymore. Den was growing older and didn't play as much as he used to. some of her old friends would stop by here and there, but life continued to trickle by at an annoyingly slow pace. she sighed, grocery's in hand. it was a lovely day yet there were signs of rain. another sigh. she hadn't seen or heard from Ed or Al, that didn't bother her as much as it used to. she had grown used to their absence in her life. she entered her store, went into the back and up the stairs to her apartment. when her and Gran had found the place, they had been lucky to find that it had some rooms above to live in. she entered it, the silence hanging in the air. yes, life was slow, work was slow. and she believed that, quite literally, that nothing was ever going to happen to her that was exciting. -Winry
